As of January 1, 2025, METRO has changed payment and ticketing service providers, and the new provider’s system is not accessible to ConnectSmart. That means users are no longer able to purchase, store or use METRO tickets through the ConnectSmart app. You are still able to plan your trips (including transit), earn rewards, and use your Coins to pay for Uber rides, gift cards (including Visa), and carpooling through the app. Any unused METRO tickets will be refunded in full to your account with Coins in your Wallet by January, 31, 2025.
